I hear what your saying... I was a friend/customer of Freds and am still pissed at the way we just screwed alot of people. Jeffs situation is a little different. He is accused of being involved in a bad situation, He hasnt been going around taking peoples hard earned money and not producing a product. In fact when you do hire him he goes above and beyond to make sure your boat is safe and delivered properly.

I was screwed hard...and I mean hard, by Bill H and National Marine,. I really do feel for you getting screwed, But I just dont think that is the case hear. Like I said, lets just sit back and let it all play out. If he is guilty..so be it, I associated my self with a criminal..and then hes got coming to him what he deserves...but until then... give him a break

Here is something about an arrest:

Pretty much answers any of the speculation about his arrest!

That's the way to go w/ a flatbed.

I'm not defending in any way - I don't know anything of the guy except from here, but at least let justice play it's role.
He's been arrested - not convicted.
And from that clip, it sounds like the cops know what happened to the boat, but not neccessarily how he was involved.
He was on here always looking for a haul back home, could be the same thing here - someone needed a haul from point A to point B.
I'd like to believe that this is all this was for him.
Until it ALL comes out, I guess we won't really know.

2 questions after reading this.

1. These people are looking right into the gas station camera with the stolen boat parked outside the gas station that night?

2. All the talk on this board about this boat being stolen and the transporter does not say anything about a "repossession"?

Bouy, I would like to belive the same, but... often you won't get arrested until the police have enough evidence to support a charge. Also I find it hard to belive that he never saw the reward after he towed it to its destination.

Maybe he called the police after he hauled it and let them know where it was. Maybe they told him to be quit until further investigation. If that was the case, they would have likely ruled him out as a suspect after investigating further. But here we are months later and he is the one arrested.

Also If he were hired by a bank or court for repo, he would have known to contact authorities before. If he forgot he would have contacted them after and they would know his position.

Ya never know what to belive... until proven guilty!

I guess I'm optimistic about a board member (which is a rare departure - for me to be optimistic about anything).

But you raise a very good point.
Why has he not come here to defend himself??
Lawyers suggestion??
Phuck that - If I'm innocent, I'll scream it.
