Steve

IF your brother didn't do something illegal , he did something really really stupid and it is not defensible; especially not in front of this crowd.
Its admirable that you stand by him as much as you can but you should take a pass because all you are doing is talkin to the wind and making yourself feel worse.
My condolences regarding your mom.

Alec

You better look into the mirror there, Sancho. I'm not a big man at all, and I don't wish to take anyone down. However, I am on a crusade in my own mind to ferret out the con artists who are experts at the oldest trade known to man...the "confidence game". Your brother has benefitted beyond belief from being a "big man" behind HIS keyboard. He used the guise of being the nice helpful guy, becoming friendly to several board members, then went on a personal crusade of his own to demolish anyone who even spoke of transport on this forum. Once again brother Steve, live by the sword, die by the sword. And for the record, I get no joy, no happiness, no laughter out of this debacle with your brother. I'm sad for you and your family, and I do hope in the end it all works out.

I personally never met Jeff but we talked several times. I did however get to meet Jeff's father and mother when they delivered a boat to me several months ago. I'm sorry to hear of her passing, she was a very nice lady.

No matter what the outcome of the situation I'm fairly sure bgchuby's reputation on this board is destroyed beyond repair.

If he stole the boat it will get back to this board, no matter any of the 20 pages of speculation in this thread and his goose is cooked....

If he legitimantly and ignorantly repo'ed the boat, ignorantly transported the obviously stolen boat after seeing $50k reward banners all over every boating forum in existance and is somehow related to OJ Simpson and is set free from these charges.....Not many people on this board are going to call him to have their boat moved..... If he is really that absent minded I personally dont want him pulling anything I own....

Our mom is still here with us. We are fighting to keep her alive. But, thanks for the kind words. I myself don't know what he knew or didn't know. He still has not made it to Texas yet.

Steve, i'm sure you don't remember me, but I ran around with Jeff and you next door neighbor Mark E. right out of high school, when you lived off Kendall Drive, we were all car nuts... about 35+ years back we're talking here..

With that said, I always thought your family was good people. Your parents were very tolerable, level headed, and fair spoken.

I don't know the truth here, and there IS some massive speculation of events, and some implications, that DO seem far fetched....

In the end, I only hope that the truth is served, for better or worse, and whatever the outcome, that it is fair, just, and impartial.

I hope you mom gets better. Did your family have problems paying for the medical bills? Could that have been the sole purpose of bgchuby doing this?

Thanks Jim. We are hoping for the same. Didn't yoiu have a Duster back then? And for the second post, we have plenty of medical insurance. I still don't think Jefff would have done this on purpose. I want to find out more of the facts.

Chris-
did I miss the thread on this? or is this info from a phone conversation or pm? not tryin to start anything, just curious... I remember you mentioned a 'large, industrial-grade chipper' in an earlier post, and was wondering where that info came from.
