is there a connection with the stolen Cig Rice Hauler or any other specific boat that has turned up missing in the last year?

well ,which is it? seems to me your talking out of both ends.

do you work for the DOT? THE FEDS? ARE YOU A INVESTIGATOR , ONE OF THE ARRESTING AGENCIES , PROSECUTOR ,JURY AND JUDGE?

as i stated 24 hours ago ,if you have proof , a link , a artical , then post it , otherwise SHUT THE F UP !!!!!!!
Exactly. People jump to such HUGE conclusions on this site it is not funny. I am still waiting for the artical to be posted up. All this talk about stolen boats and arrests, surely some one has an artical. They could not keep a story like this away from the news!

I talked to Jeff last week and all was ok, I have talked to him a few times, kids screaming in the background or he is on the road, seems like a good family man to me.

In this case, I'd say yes. Let's not forget - and this is a little background info for those of you who may be new - but this attitude is a reflection of Jeff's pizz-poor attitude from day one when he discovered this site (and it's ensuing gold-mine of shipping business). It was Jeff who ran rampant with his maligned, ill-mannered sht-on-everyone attitude, so that he can steal business and line his pockets. Jeff went out of his way to make it a point to pizz on everyone who dared offer up an empty hitch to their OSO friends -- oh no, don't you dare, the expert's come to the rescue, everyone else is unworthy. Some of you will remember this period of time.

By the way, those of you who may have paid him for transport might be owed some money, after all a not-for-hire truck is driving for favors, not commercially.

Here's the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration website:

(the insurance and liability section is especially interesting) Have fun.

interesting, he never hauled a boat for me, but helped me on a couple occasions, nothing big, but he never ask anything in return either.... figure him for a good guy. As to running a "not for hire" sign on his truck, let the man who has never cheated on his taxes throw the first stone....
