he emailed me because he wasn't happy with some remarks I made about him in another thread a few days ago....how quickly we forget....he was the biggest a$$ ever seen when he was posting on here as Chubby....he didn't mind burning anyones a$$....bottom line is if he was just payed to move a boat...why didn't he man up when he saw the all the reward threads about card shark....

I like how there's always a handful of people that like to comment on things that haven't directly affected them. Has Jeff ever moved a boat for any of the people that keep saying negative things? I think not.
I remember seeing a couple of threads Jeff got into it with some others that were transporting boats. Whatever, not really my concern.
However, I can comment on this (as I have before), He's moved countless boats for me and friends with out ever a hick-up. And I always laugh when people would bring up insurance and all that. When he was bringing our Cig from Florida a guy with a large 5th wheel clipped the swim step in a gas station.
Jeffs insurance dealt with the other drivers insurance, an adjuster came out to see the damage and wrote me a check for 3500 dollars on the spot to replace the step. Easiest insurance transaction I"ve ever dealt with.
And everyone can speculate about what happened with the cardshark boat but in the end, it will all come out and until that day, I kind've like to believe in our system that people are innocent until proven guilty, judged by a jury of peers, based on facts. Not a bunch of people going off of rumors from an armchair and a computer.
I can only attest to Jeff's character from what I've seen personally and dealt with on a business level and that has always been true to his word, first rate work.
And since we're bringing in personal opinions and speculation...I'll say this; Jeff's never done anything the owner of a boat didn't want done.
I'll reserve all other comments for when the trial is over and all the facts come to light. It’s going to be interesting, I can assure you that.

no offense dude, but thats what everyone said about Fred when they got their cupholders on time...but he walked off with hundreds of thousands of dollars of peoples moneys, members here AND advertisers...

Now, if you can produce people that have dealt with Jeff by having a boat towed for them and have not had their expectations met or exceeded, then we'd be talking about the same type of situation. But Jeff's never had an un-happy customer as far as I know. None have ever posted on here that I've seen.
I'm not going to get on here, bang the gong and light the torch to defend him but it just seems unfair that some appear to be on a witch hunt. People bash the guy for his involvement in this Carshark ordeal but it doesn't change the fact he's one of the best boat transporters in the country...PERIOD.
