It was Jeff who ran rampant with his maligned, ill-mannered sht-on-everyone attitude, so that he can steal business and line his pockets. Jeff went out of his way to make it a point to pizz on everyone who dared offer up an empty hitch to their OSO friends -- oh no, don't you dare, the expert's come to the rescue, everyone else is unworthy. Some of you will remember this period of time.
By the way, those of you who may have paid him for transport might be owed some money, after all a not-for-hire truck is driving for favors, not commercially.
Here's the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration website:

(the insurance and liability section is especially interesting) Have fun.

To add to your thought....He BLASTED the owner of the Speedwake site for advertising his Outerlimits here in the classified. I wish I could find the post. Then, 6 months later, he is kissing a$$ on SW and talking about being an advertiser!. Even if he is totally innocent, he was very harsh and full of himself!
But, as usual, this is only my humble opinion!

Interesting thread. If this all pans out to be true, it could be one heck of an opportunity for someone to get into the transport Biz.
I would think this site would be a referral factory.

tough way to make a living if you pay all the cargo and liability insurances and operate according to the letter of the law.

I have been reading all this. I dont know Jeff, but why cant we all just wait and see. Some people have good experience, some bad, lets just hope that someone from OSO did not use the goodwill here to do dirty work.
Usually in situations like this though, if someone is in trouble, then they keep it quiet and let the deal making and tattle-tailing begin. JMO

Someone should start a boat transportation brokering business. There are enough companies that specialize in boat hauling and I'm sure they need some backhauls. 90% of all brokered loads are backhauls. You can go to www.getloaded.com and see how this works. I have 48 state brokering authority but I do not mess w/ boats.
