SAXMAN had two drysump lowers for sale very very reasonable.
They have the old skeg design, but they are mercury original drysumps not conversions. Might be an option for you to swap the parts and weld the skeg if you choose. I believe Herring charges $1,700 per drive to cut and reweld the skeg. Plus your drysump parts from whom ever you choose to do your work. Plus the is some very minor work to do to your upper so it can be pressurized. Good Luck and keep us posted. Jon |
