Default NJPPC Is Going To Portimão Portugal - Powerboat P1 Races September 2008

Toms River, NJ, March 4th, 2008 - The New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club (NJPPC) is working with PR POWER in the United States in conjunction with Powerboat P1 in Europe to develop an exclusive NJPPC Hospitality & Travel Package for this year’s Powerboat P1 race in Portimão Portugal.

Powerboat P1 Offshore Racing provides spectators and guests with a memorable and highly sociable event. Powerboat P1 combines the thrill and excitement of competitive motor sport with a carnival atmosphere, exhibition zones and delivers top quality live entertainment. Add to this the glamour of the occasion, a stunning coastal location, rich in culture and basking in sunshine, and the foundations for the P1 experience begin to take shape.

NJPPC’s Hospitality & Travel Package will provide a spectacular setting, fresh air and the warmth of the local culture. The package will be further enhanced with the finest standards in corporate hospitality. Watch the race action from the best possible vantage points, on land or at sea, with access to exclusive V.I.P marquees and tours of both dry and wet pits. Powerboat P1 will provide the very best hospitality and a sociable and totally relaxing lifestyle experience.

Powerboat P1 combines spectacular action, with the glamour of international motor sport. Racing takes place close to the shorelines attracting large crowds. Last season the carnival atmosphere of the Powerboat P1 race weekend was enjoyed by over 280,000 people.

Boasting several of Europe's finest hotels and restaurants, an idyllic climate and stunning beaches, Portimão has established a reputation as one of Europe's most prestigious and fashionable resorts. Portimão also hosts many excellent national and international restaurants as well as a vibrant nightlife for which the Algarve Region is famous. Already the venue for other top-tier international motor sport championships, the city has proven expertise in organizing events and is set to provide an exciting spectacle.

About the New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club
The New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club (NJPPC) was founded in 1999 and has over 200 members. The NJPPC is a members-run club that’s charter is to provide its members with top quality Poker Runs and other exciting events. It enthusiastically welcomes a broad cross-section of performance powerboaters to join the club. Its schedule is planned considering both smaller and larger boats. Consequently, its membership spans from owners of 18’ to 50’ boats!

Distinct from other Poker Run organizations, the club chooses to limit the number of event participants to assure safety, promote camaraderie and to facilitate a well-run, enjoyable day for all involved. The limited number also affords access to the highest quality marine facilities such as Trump Marina Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. The club has no profit motivation prompting it to host the biggest events – but it is strongly motivated to run the best events and in that way, everybody profits! NJPPC membership is required to participate in the club Poker Runs.

For further information please visit the club’s website at: http://www.njppc.com. NJPPC can be contacted via telephone at 732 674-2946, via email at [email protected] or via mail at: Dave Patnaude – President, NJPPC, 604 North End Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753.
