Am I the only one that uses 10" bumpers?

Why not just use stainless steel?

I have a ton of that stuff laying around from my old drag car. It's cheap, light, and won't rust once coated. Also, something different.

I was about to ask the same thing. I use 10" at the front and 8.5" in the back.

I have never found any for 10" so I have never bought them.

How many interested at $150.00 a piece? ANY color choice. Depending on how many i'll have my fabricating department build the damn things that price is rediculous!

I'd be in for four singles or better yet two doubles in 8.5". Let me know and I'll pick the color!

That was my boat. I could not justify the cost of the billet stuff, especially since nobody ever really sees it. They have served me well and held up extremely well.

What type of material is that? Exactly how do you have that mounted? Is it open at the bottom or is it a closed bottom with a hole to let the water out.

Thanks Chuck D.

Did you make them out of pvc pipe. Or are they store bought. What store?

haulinvols 03-14-2008 09:28 PM

I made them out of 10" PVC drain pipe. They are cut to 1.5 foot lengths and mounted using aluminum brackets that I fabbed up. They are open at the bottom and the fenders rest on the flat part of the bilge under them. They were a bit too heavy for my taste so I cut the 4" holes in them to lighten them.
