Great pictures. How are the turbines in wave hopping? Can you throttle back and forth like a gas engine between waves?

Marc are you guys burning JetA????? We burn Jet A , Kerosene, Diesel/gas, Bio fuel is our big push right now. Throttling the boat in seas. very similar to Piston. Not quite as much throttleback though. However... The challenging part as any race team will tell you is finding the fastest you can go "the zone" but not pushing the equipment harder than it can last to finish the race(that's the hardest by far). Consequences of a miss ....overspeeding the turbine (very bad). Marc |
