Free 85' 31ft Chris Craft Stinger

Two years ago I acquired this boat, bad engines (400 TRS) for 9,000. Since then it has been moved around place to place, with no real home. It was left in the water over the winter with no motors. I got the boat from the original owner but somehow lost the title. I have absolutly no ambition anymore and anyone who wants it can just have it.

During a wind storm last year the lines broke free and allowed the boat to smash up against the concrete dock, damage is minor (swim platform is gone, winshield damage, got a lot of water in it, basically sank but caught it just in time). Its in the water in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. No trailer. Please take this headache off my hands. Remember no motors or trans, just the drives which worked when i got it.

PM, or email me at [email protected] if interested

I would take it ,but could not afford to fix it up.My wife would leave me and I would need the money for a divorce attorney:D Good luck not every day you see a boat for free no matter what the condition.

Thanks Steve (assuming), this really doesn't need much, I'm in the process of looking for a cat and I don't need three large boats. It ran with the two bad motors but not well at all, the boats only got 200 something hours on it. Someone will hopefully take it and make use out of it. I have the transmissions but would possibly need them for some other boat.

That thing is cool, classic lines, screams potential...but then again, I love watching people do projects.

Someone, I"m sure, will take that off your hands.

Why's it in the water by the way?

Did that boat come from Texas. Looks like one from Clear Lake/Galveston Bay area.

At least the storm cured it of the radar arch.
