Why did you screw up that boat's heritage (that's what I'm thinking).................(not that I like Cigs anyway).

How did I do that ? If anything I've improved it. New XR drives with IMCO shorty lowers...powdercoated swim platform that was corroded, pulled tabs media blasted and painted w IMRON (they were highly corroded and pitted), same for gimble rings (new black) and transom assemblies. Pulled lots of bits and pieces and refinished and powdercoated. If anytihng I've spent close to $30k cleaning up a boat that desperately needed it to PRESERVE it's heritage. I haven't painted the stripe red....perhaps you missed that.

Sorry........maybe I did miss the thing about the red strip. I thought you painted that on there aldready. I think for "special edition" boats like this, if you screw with the original layout, intent or "look"......it's not a good idea.

If you haven't painted the red.......then my opinion would be to not do it.
