Yes it was Jet Dock he was a dealer for them for about 2 years. They were going to put one at my house for my 42 Sonic but I didn't have enough water at low tide and was told by Jet Dock that a 16000# boat would break it if it sat on bottom. This was in 2002 so they may have changed some and my buddie is no longer a dealer. I have 4 Hi Tide lifts now so I havn't looked into them in 6 years.

They don't go down that far it was the size of the ballast tank under the back for the size one I was looking at. There is a lot under water like an iceberg.

how does it work it the salt water, will it build up with barnacles, and effect its lifting ability.
Are they taken out thru the winter, or do you just set it up, and forget about it.
I appreciate all the feedback so far, looks like a cool system.

Wish they were not so damn expensive!!! Other then that I have heard nothing bad about them.

the web site does not show prices, what type of range are they for a 35-40 ft boat?

To give you correct pricing, you probably will want to Call Kenny at their Headquarters in Cleveland. Tell him PK told you to call he will set you up.

For performance boats, there's nothing better than a JET DOCK. When your done checking out the consumer photos, take time to check out JET DOCK's military systems. JET DOCK is the premier dry-dock boatlift provider for the United States Coast Guard for their new fleet of 700+ 25 SafeBoats. What's awesome about the JET DOCK is consumers enjoy the same military tough construction and design as the U.S. Military systems. If the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard is choosing JET DOCK over all the other companies, that says volumes about the product. Clearly the military has financial resources to basically purchase whatever they want; their choice of JET DOCK has already done a lot of homework for those trying to determine "What's the best lift on the market today?"
