if they would only buy Bayliner..then I could get an 18' bowrider, with a twin stepped hull and staggered 850's for under 13K. Complete with 90 day hull warrenty.

So what are the chances that you will be able to buy a new Baja in 3 years I wonder.

Sounds to me like Baja will be saving Fountains ass, not the other way around. If Baja is considered an "entry" level boat it is only because of the affordability factor. I have nothing against a fountain but I think the larger Bajas have a more current look.

P.S. I am glad they fired that crackhead that was coming up with those color schemes in the 90's though!

I've owned both. At the same time. The women liked the Baja better (33 Outlaw) and the men liked the Fountain better (42 Ex).
