The valve covers and flame arrestors will coordinate with the new paint. The goal is to have it re-rigged including the engines by the end of April.

Dave,
Thanks...it should look better when the hatches are finished.
Viper,
Here is the interior. I took my first ride in a Scarab ll in the San Francisco Bay in the fall of 1986 as a surprize birthday present. While drinking wine and eating sourdough bread at Fishersman's Wharf....wife says " Let's go look at the boats". Walked out and she said Happy Birthday, we are going for a ride. Off we went to Sausalito bar hopping, then ended up in a in a race with the agreed winner being the first one to go under the Golden Gate Bridge...we won! Two weeks later we move to Toledo, OH and I was a 30' Scarab boat owner 6 months later.
This SF Scarab ll was called "Marine Limousine". Anybody know who that was? This little ride cost me a HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of $$ and it ain't over yet!

I like Diet Pepsi with my Captain Morgan....
Looks great! Nice combination of colors and patterns, well-executed. There is a similar scheme on a 43 Wellcraft in my area called "Slippery When Wet".
Are you going to name yours "Just Add Captain"?
