Default Maxum Powerboats

Anybody have experience with them?

My son-in-law is looking at a 2003 2100 SR.

I know they're made in WA, and are owned by Brunswick.

Thanks for putting-up with a non-offshore boat question!

A buddy has owned a couple. He now has the 24sr. Great family boat and well put together. ESPECIALLY for the money. If it checks out, tell him to go for it. There are lots of them on the west coast.

Speaking of holding up well, my buddies first Maxim was an 18 footer. We would take it off shore all the time fishing, and anyone that has been the the Pacific in an 18, knows the amount of air time you'll have. LOL. That boat was like a timex. He was relentless, and it never faultered. BTW his 24SR has the 305 Merc in it and runs 57 on GPS with 4 of us fat asses in it. Not bad at all for the HP.
