Beau, the one you are talking about is being built by Tyson {big yellow cat} here in Missouri, they are being installed now in one and soon to be installed in a 46 skater with big power at loto.yes they will handle 2,000 lbs torquem would be great for diesels

We have had way better luck running our Bam Super Cyborg transmissions than we have with our Merc #6 Drysump drives.
So far 120 hrs and no transmission failures. We have blown 3 new# 6 Drysumps to smithereens in the same time period. The Bam Dry sump Cyborgs are rated up to 1300 ft lbs of torque We run our 565Cis to 6500 rpms 14-71 high helix blowers @ 13 to 16 lbs of boost 1300 to 1400+ hp 1.24 ratio and Merc 36 P 17" cleavers The new Bam's appear to be stronger than our drives Good Luck! |

I never took claim to it, I'm good friends with Tyson, and know he does his homework on his products and felt like this could eliminate a reliability issue on big torque diesels

I would look at converting your setup to the air shift crashbox. You have half the parts now. We know the crashbox will take your power and the dry clutch pack on the air shift is similar to top fuel race cars with far more power. I am like you and grew tired of losing a tranny. I went wtih crash boxes 2 years ago without a single issue of paint damage so far.
