Funniest or stupidest thing in boat ads
 

As I search for my next boat, it never ceases to amaze me what some people (brokers 99.99% of the time) put in ads. Some examples:

"WHO NEEDS VIAGRA ! Grab ahold of this for the ride of your life! The Lipstick Red COCKpit says it all.…if you don't get noticed in this rig, you'd better go visit a plastic surgeon or the mortician! " (the caps are their's not mine! but for some reason I feel very, very dirty after reading the ad!!)

"Cruizes at 80 MPH runs over 100!!" ( Stock 500 EFIs in a 35 cigarette and also in an ad for a strait hull gun wth 600 SCs.)

"Think of it as a high end European sedan only it runs on water..... 430 hp each....propels the vessel to eye watering speeds and up in a hurry. These boats are not for the timid. "The meek may inherit the earth, but they will never know pleasures like this vessel provides." (what comes after eye watering??? Eye piercing?? Blinding?? Light Speed??)

"real head turner. IT SCREAMS..."LEAD, FOLLOW OR GET THE SAM HILL OUT OF THE WAY" (This makes no sense at all but I guess if your trying to get someones blood pressure up to buy the boat, why would you scream LEAD????)

"just "REDUCED IN PRICE" and will definitely get your neighbor's attention"..(If I block his driveway I could get his attention with a horse trailer)

"She has a 425hp Mercruiser 496 HO with 74 hours and it is factory FRESHWATER COOLED" (If your going to be a moron and don't know the difference between closed cooling and fresh water cooling then capitalizing will help bring attention to your stupidity!!)

Anyone else seen anything funny or just outright stupid?

I just saw a 2007 Scarab 38 on ebay the other day? From the paint it looked alot like a 1999. But if the boat gets a valve job and a flat screen in 07... it must be re-titled!

As a broker, I think the worst Ive done is place "Ask your wife before making an offer" at the bottom of every add I had up last year. We had more guys back out of deals at the last minute saying "The real boss says no!" Who even admits to that?

I did most of my cheesey attempts at getting attention with pictures. And for that you are all very welcome!
