IMP was Iola Molded Plastics. Iola Kansas. they had many owners over the years and the IMP stood for many things.
International Marine Products and the best was It Might Plane. I tried to save the company twice......no luck. (long story) |

Either way, that has got to be the oddest sounding name I've ever heard in my life. Almost sounds made up.

I happen to see a clip on tv that was talking about Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher. They said that Joey had a power boat named "Double Trouble". Does anybody know what kind of boat he had?

Nope, not made up. Mfg was named Industrial Molded Plastics and the model was the Elagnza, I believe. Went under in the early 90's along with many other mfg's

Yeah, he kept it at Grovers years ago. I remember him as well. That way he could take Amy for a ride on the boat , then ride her at the Freeport Motor Inn and Boatel.
