Truly a sad day, I have boated all over the country and Lake Martin was my favorite location. Great people and a beautiful lake. This should serve as a warning to all boaters on what can be done with the stroke of the legislative pen.

Have yall considered appealing this decision?? If nothing else it would allow yall another summer on the lake possibly.

Sorry to hear that things did not work out for yall

That really sucks. We are being regulated out of existence.

What a crock of chit. Again, people in power that know nothing of boats or boating, paint us all with a broad brush. I would be lying if I said I was surprised that "D" politicians were behind this.

Robert, I appreciate your efforts. I am disgusted by the way politics every where pander to big money special interests.Joe Murray

Been on the phone most of the day, trying to find out what it would cost to appeal. It would buy us this season for sure. Just not sure if we can do it,the 6 of us,the plaintiffs, are tapped out. It is a shame that justice in situations like these, depends on how much money you have,or can raise.Alabama Power doesn't have that problem, their expenses are added to our power bill.At this point I am leaning toward folding our tent and admitting we are beaten. I can still sell my Formulas somewhere else,it just sucks that the power company won.Sorry to sound bitter, but after 2 years of fighting, and losing,I am bitter.

Robert, I also appreciate your efforts. We are all losers here. What lake will be next? This ruling is arbitrary - pure and simple. As I understand it, the quality of rulings improves at the appelate level. I would think every boat manufacturer affected by this ruling would be offering support at this point.
