Default Mounting an extra cleat on a 303

I recently purchased a Formula 303 SR-1.....love the boat! Anyway, I want to use a set of mooring whips at my dock. To do this correctly, I would need to add an extra cleat more forward towards the bow. Has anyone done this to there off-shore style boat, and how did it hold up? My concern is stress cracking around the cleat from where mounting holes are needed. I did this once on a MasterCraft with great success, but the 7500+ lbs of the 303 has me a little concerned.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions encouraged. Thanks!
