I hope someone is going to pick up John Crouse and bring him by to hang with some old friends for a day.
I bet he'll be able to sell a Sea Race book or two.

Scott....We really tossed around the center console idea, but since the speeds are so high in some of them, we couldn't figure out a way to keep the people inside from getting tossed around.
Our biggest concern is SAFETY, for everyone. In the end we just decided that since we couldn't let the slow CC's in and not the fast ones, just to eliminate that class of boat. Maybe by next year we can come up with some good safe way to do it.

I am trying to arrange "Dog sitters" for John.
He has three great dogs that he babies endlessly.
He doesn't want to leave them and he doesn't want to take them with him....so among the other areas to be covered...I am working on it.
It would be great o hear some of his stories...here he is with the one and only...Carl Kiekhaefer.

John lives on the west coast of Florida. He was THE person that made Don Aronow famous. John was also the offshore editor for Powerboat Mag for 15 or so years. Plus he put on the old Bahamas race as a promoted.
John belongs in Sunny Isles Beach for this event. I'd love to shake his hand, I think I've read everything that his hands have written.
Bill, check your pm.

Hi Rich - That's me, and as for "error in trim", you had to be there to understand. That day was the biggest damn water I ever ran in...AND I finished a very respectable 2nd outboard behind John Stenbeck. Steve Sirois
