POKER RUN AUCTION IDEA'S / I Need Your Help!

I need some ideas for items for our auction.

The guy that was in charge of the auction last year collected autographed sports items, although they were nice they just didn't appeal to us boaters. So he has ask me to put together a list of items for him to try and collect.
So lets hear your ideas

100% of the proceeds of BoyneThunder goes to charity. Not just the auction items.

If you can get support from local business you can offer :
Winter Storage, Fuel Cards, & Towing
Get support from manufacturers and auction:
An embroidered upholestry, a paint job, an intercom or stereo, crew uniforms..
Tax deductable gifts for the chance to get new customers

If you think these would appeal to anyone, I can send you some.
They are the new 8 X 10 flyers for HORBA and they can be framed for shops or garages or boathouses.

dock lines, life jackets, pull up cleats, medical kits, tool bags with tools, Restaurant gift certificates, cleaning supplies - speedy metal polish, swipes , motarized blender

Anything that every boater needs for his boat. Hope that helps.

I can give you an idea AND some stuff... I'd be happy to send you out some product you can put into the auction.

How about a few sets of these!?

Ditto

Plus hit up some of the boat manufacturers and supporters of this website. You give them free advertising by handing out flyers of all the "supporters" and putting up any banners they provide. In return they give you free stuff to raffle off for charity.

A couple that I've been to that got a good response, a leather Harley-davidson Jacket, TV, matching dock lines, embroidered towels and the biggest bidding ever was a battery power toy Caterpillar tractor. Two neighbors with way to much to drink started telling each other they were going to buy it and dump sand in the others yard, I think it went for $1500.

Thanks Guys,

Your items would be very welcome. We try to do everything we can to help the kids. You can send them to the address below. We will also send you a charitable donation receipt, just tell us how much.

By U Boy, If you send the item you you mentioned in the post you deleted you might want to mark "PARISHABLE" on the box. Otherwise she might get a little ripe. lol
