canadian boaters! Who insures your over 500HP boat???
Called 2 places that are actually trying to quote me on insurance for a Formula 382 twin 500 EFI + vortech...
Answer is: we don't find any ins. co. for this market ( looks like they fear blowers) They are still trying to contact other company but I think it hard to believe...
It's not a 160 mph cat, it's only a 85 mph V...
So you writes your policy with a similar boat / engine package?

Talk to either Rita Davis or Scott McMichael at McMichael Davis Ins. 905 847 1616 Tell them Bob sent you....... hopefully they won't hang up !! LOL

I had a bit_h of a time getting insurance on my boat (2005 25 Outlaw with a 375 mag). I have a perfect record and perfect credit but no regular insurance company even wanted to deal with it. I'm now with Premier Marine...pay about $1400.00 a year. Best of luck to ya.

Here is something to be aware of. They will give you a 10% discount if you have an alarm system ( I expect it would need to be monitored ) also another 10% discount if kept on a lift. Worth looking into.
