Can anyone in the business help a borther out?

I kinda took the original post the same way.
I have been knocked twice on this board recently because my boat didn't meet up to someone's standards of Offshore Performance.
Are you freakin' kidding me - a 24/7 old school Pantera doesn't qualify??
It's also funny that every now and then a thread pops up about "Which boat do you wish you would have never sold?" And all the guys mention some smaller more manageable boat that was less expensive, and just plain fun.
As long as you have a love of the water, and you're not an azzhat, you're in as far as I'm concerned.
Swamp - good luck in finding what you need.
I also apologize for the hijack - but look at this way, it bumps your thread to the top again

To the original poster, you might check out crateenginedepot.com. I've never bought from them, but they seem to have some good prices on GM crate engines. Some clearance checking, and replacing the exhaust valves with higher temp gear would be recommended.

Picking On Stecz !
I really don't think this place is the right venue to pick on STECZ,and his being a founding member of GA(GAYS ANONYMOUS) should warrant some respect on OSO.

Swamp, See us OSO'rs are a good bunch. You should hang here more often. We're not as bad as JJ makes us out to be.
I work at a GM dealership, not sure what I can do for ya but if you need any info feel free to PM me.

Well I am back from the "brink" having been unemployed for half of 2009 - brutal year and in no position to fix the Harley. 2010 is a new year and I am re-visiting the gas engine builds I need. Unfortunately the bucks are going to take a while but I hope to get situated soon. Probably just rebuild the one broken lump to get her moving again and see if I can afford a couple of 540 or 555 long blocks for a nice upgrade.
Keep your eyes open for me guys!
