Question This spring at LOTO

I sold my boat 2 years ago and took those years off from boating completely. Now its time to start shopping again. I was just curious what has been happening at the LOTO's? Who is the big dog?
One more question before I go. About 4 years ago a congressmen for the Anderson Hollow area tried to push legislation through saying that no more than 3 boats could tie together. Has anyone caught wind of any new laws or legislation in the works to spoil the fun at the lake?

Thanks
Mike

P.S. I am shopping for a Top Gun or 41' Apache.

Well Mike,

I can't answer any of your questions but I like what you're shopping for! Good luck in finding what you want.

You might try to contact State Senator Harry Wiggins office. He has an office in Jeff City & Kansas City

There is a push for no wake zone from the bridge to the cove on weekends.

Default New "No Wake" rules

Talked with Captain Hughes last Friday about the no wake thing.
It will not be from the bridge all the way to the cove. He said it will be from the bridge, to the point, which is the first right hand sweep after the bridge heading to the cove.

Same big dogs as a few years ago. Cats are popular, 100mph is no big deal now. They kind of gave up on legislation to eliminate/move PC. The water patrol wants PC where it is now. Good chance the no wake zone will be from the bridge to the Moorings. Sounds like Aqua Pizza will be gone (if that's you kind of late night thing to do). New legislation is being pushed to keep hotel bars on the water open till 3AM. You can search the Lake Sun Leader for most of this info.
Big change from 2 years ago are the sobriety checkpoints. Midnight to 3 AM no most weekends at some point on the lake between 7 and 31mm. EVERYBODY gets stopped/checked. Have a designated driver if your leaving the bar at night.
