Who sells KPM pumps?

I have some pumps I got form our old buddy Fred that need some parts. Anyone know who handles these. I know Fred said they came with something like a 300 year warranty since they never break but I happened to break mine. Anyone know who sells these KPM sea pumps? Thank you

Truthfully, I had some problems with them when they first came out. The pullys use to fall off. This was from Sterling and they made some changes. They do show some corrosion and there are a couple of pieces that need to be changed. The good point is they never eat impellers. They can run dry for long periods of time. That is the one huge good point! The other pumps need new impellers and housings if you run them dry for 15 seconds. Once the changes are made that Sterling made, they are worth having, in my opinion.

Hey thanks for a honest input. I have been thinking about investing in some. Thanks again.

Are there any suppliers in the USA that sell the run-dry impellers for the KPM kit that Fred was selling?

BenPerfected 04-28-2008 08:46 PM

As Sterling sold them to you as part of their engine package, they should assume the responsibility as the "dealer". Will they service them if you sent them back? What sea pumps are they selling today?

Woops...I assumed these pumps were from the Sterling engines, maybe not...
