It's not just the phraseology. No socks? Pastel tees? Start writing that check. Don't even think about wearing Wayfarers.

As for the second post, it's true so I don't think its arrogant.

I think that's why we have smileys.

From the website Confidence vs. Arrogance - Get It Right

"An arrogant person tends to brag and can put others down in an attempt to be the best or come out the coolest."

"An arrogant person can be cocky and difficult to reason with, making conversation difficult and bothersome."

You be the judge.

What if you're confident that you're arrogant?

Check out MarineFuel.com. They don't actually have the stats for each boat, but they will save you a bunch of money on your fueling. They have real-time fuel dock pricing for all marinas..

Twin O/B Sonic 12-21-2010 05:18 PM

I know this is a 2 yr old thread but........, I bought some stuff to go testing when the Sonics' done.
Lowrance makes and affordable unit LM-400 (I think) for twins that monitors fuels consumption. It's set to accept GPS speedo input to read MPG's and range. Will read GPH w/o. The GPS I bought for the boat will do it itself w/the addition of the in-line flow flow sensors. I've got 1/2 dozen sets of wheels to try to find most economical cruiseing set up for my boat.
When we go down to the Keys (or other long range runs) we normally go up 2" in pitch to slow the motors down while retaining speed but not sure it works that way. Plus a couple times off and to plane eats most of your savings w/the added load of the larger pitch.
Cheap enough now to buy your own test equip and find the sweet spot for your current rig though.

Hi!

Mercurymarine and Mercuryracing have performance reports stating mpg and gph figures :)
