Default Help with A sport fish

A buddy has a 29 luhrs with marine power 350's and we are having a fuel delivery problem on the port engine. we have come to the conclusion that its the pick up tube, but we have no way to get it out short of cutting the floor out. We have tried to blow through it and nothing happens(I assume the anti syphon is not allowing this). What can we do to clear the pick up???

Try hooking up a miteyvac hand pump and measure how much vaccum it takes to draw fuel. Us a brake bleeding set up to catch the fuel. If it is stopped up you probably have crud in the bottom of the tank that has built up as high as the pick up. Look for a drain at the lowest point of the tank. Drain it till good clean fuel comes out

Default

does the 90 degree fitting unscrew from the tank? or pick up?
if it does , once you get the fitting off you can use a small cable on a drill and slowly spin it down thru the pick up to free or clear it of any obstruction. more than likely there is some crud in the 90 or anti psiphon.
