Default Gas Prices at the Marina

What's everyone paying?

I'm around $4.25 on Lake Norman in NC. I sure hope this will stabilize.

Have been listening to business pundits speak about fuel prices the last several days......Many are predicting fuel to hit $200 a barrel this year. Not Good.

Gas went up twice today on land from 3.59 to 3.75, at 122.oo/barrel which will hit pumps in 3-4 weeks they are saying 4.20-4.30 by memorial day, fuel is typically 50-70 ct./ gallon more on water so look for 4.70-5.00 for 87 octane, 93 will be 5.00-5.30 gal., 110 octane race 7.50-8.00/gal

$5 dollars a gal. Thats going to hurt. I keep the boat at Haverstraw marina on the Hudson witch is the best, but the ride up to Newburgh is 20 miles one way . 45 gals of hightest to have a few drinks on a weeknight gets a little pricei. to run to liberty state park is 70 miles round trip, out to glen cove taking the short cut down the Harlum river is a 100 mile there and back. Thats why I was thinking of taking the boat down the shore because of the shorter distances between hangouts .
