Paging Donzimitch
Mitch,
It was nice meeting you (well sort of )talking with you ,thanks again for the invite to your cabin. I would have taken you up on it if the circumstances were different. One my dad's untested snowmobile and the two friends that were at my cabin would not drive that far.
We did have a great weekend though, plenty of snow (plus the 12+ of fresh stuff by Sat. night) the trails were good. Too bad you didn't have your sled or you could have stayed with us.
My dad's sled ended up running great BUT we had some bad luck Sat. night we were near Indian River and a stud came out of his track and put a hole in the heat exchanger ! I couldn't believe it ! What bad luck. We were 80miles from the cabin , We left him at a bar and went back for the truck and trailer. It was a 2 hour ride by truck to get the sled , the roads were terrible. Speaking of that how was your ride home ? I75 was marginal when we left Sunday.
Well take it easy
Chuck

Hey, the ridding was great. We ended up with about 12 inchs and I put on 200 miles on sat with some guys I met in Grand Marais. I almost loaded up and headed down but I was tired and had to fix Michelles sled. There is plenty of snow so maybe later in March or April. If not for sure next year. if I plan it i can bring them home and ride down state. Here are a few Highlights. Me going 100. Still 1000 rpms to go!!!!!

26 Scarab I looked at your sled on your web site, and I think I saw you Sat. Were you towing a xcr700? I was on the chandler hill trail when I think I passed you. I then went to SpringBrook G.C. and latter saw the sled on the side of Chandler Hill rd. on the way back. Was that you?

T12,
Yes that was me pulling my old mans sled.
Did you happen to see the dead deer on the side of the trail ? Someone had hit it and split so my friends decided to gut it right there and take some meat. That is when we noticed the antifreeze running out of my dads sled.
Small world huh !?

Yes, it must be a small world, I saw that pic. of your sled last week. on the computer then see it sat. on the trail. No I didn't see the Deer. I rode from Lakes of the North to SpringBrook. then took roads back. Since they had about 10 fresh inches on them. Best riding of the year.

Our cabin is 8 miles north of Lewiston, we stopped at Springbrook and then was going to go to Wolverine and then possibly the bridge then back down thru Cheboyan and Atlanta then back to the cabin. It would have been a 200 mile day until dad's sled broke. I still ended up with 230 miles for the weekend.
