Don't knock the sailing in the BVI at all. I've been down there for three week long sailing trips in the last year or so - it is awesome.:D

bvi is a great place for any kind of boating. anegada is amazing. cow wreck beach is the best. spent many a drunken afternoon there. well, just about everywhere. jost, marina cay, and party central-the bight. cane garden bay. all accessable in under an hour by powerboat. :cool-smiley-026:

considering how small the country is (about 24k population), there are quite a few performance boaters in the bvi. a couple skaters, a few cigs including a flat deck, hustlers, midnights, etc. drives the sailboaters nuts.
