Great weekend everyone. We had a nice turnout and a great run from Thayers to Treadwell and several "hard" blasts" to the Turtle both days. Did finally meet up with the French Squadron Sunday, with GL, at Treadwell. They'll be back next season for sure. I have a ton of pic's to post and I'll get them out soon. Again, thanks to all who showed up to make it a very enjoyable weekend and thanks to Matt at the Turtle for supporting such a large group. There's still some boatin' left though, so stay tuned

I had a blast this weekend! Glad we were able to hook up with you guys. Your all a great bunch of people and hope to do a lot more boating with all of you. My buddy mike has been non stop shopping for a performance boat now for next season haha...Kasey and I are so burnt and neither one of us can believe we made it to work today...

oh what time did everyone leave from the turtle last night? We got a ride up to Geoffry's Pub for some dinner and everyone was gone when we got back...lake was beautiful for the trip back up to RP!

btw guys now that we are losing day light earlier and the last 3 nights i've been coming back into the launch in the dark we need to be more careful of people running with no lights on.

I was pulling into the launch in Rouses Point last night...i had slowed down a good ways out when i saw some sort of a shadow in the water probably about 50 feet from shore almost direct in line with me and the dock. I dropped right down to idle and sure enough, some dumba$$ is trolling up to the dock with his electric motor on about a 12-14ft aluminum boat in the pitch black with no lights on. Thank god there is some real good lighting at this ramp or I probably wouldnt have seen him until it was almost too late. This guy could have made a great weekend go really bad. I kept my cool but wish i would have given him a piece of my mind! As i'm loading up i just hear him talking to his buddies about the fishe he caught...well he almost caught a 21ft fourwinns in his ass!
