I ran STVs , Allys and Hydrostreams for years too. Only had a couple crashes and they weren't that severe (other than the damage to the boats). But, after witnessing many crashes like this, I figured it was time to move on to another hobby.
Another horrendous crash photo. |

Foxnews.com has this photo of Joe Peroceschi walking on water at 100+ mph. He is in the hospital but will recover from his broken bones. I used to race these small 18-20' drag boats but too many of my friends were getting hurt. I know Joe as well and he is a true hard core racer. Get well Joe and when you are feeling better this picture will be a keeper.

Another horrendous crash photo. My dad and I are going to take out the flatbottom in a couple weeks to a closed circut lake. This type of posting will make me think before I try someting over my head..Thanks |

Here is one from Chattanooga last season: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...CR00210x8W.jpg |

Hmm,
I don't know what kind of tunnel that is, but it looks good even upside down. Looks like a modified Mirage 18' RR. I hope he's OK. I used to run the drags too. Great sport, but expensive and dangerous. I've lost 2 friends since I quit :(........... Regards, Steve |
