This is what many professionals use.

For "Severe BUT safe Cleaning"

http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-vinyl-r...-Vinyl-Cleaner

Routine Cleaning and Protectant:

http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-vinyl-r...er-Conditioner

Also if you have mildewed vinly this will help you I am sure as it did me!:

http://www.teammiata.com/303products/vinyl.htm

Any chorine product or abrasive will etch the "vinyl skin" which is a surface UV protectent layer and will age the vinyl considerably over time and cause coloration and/or fading and micro-cracking.

I HATE the Magic Erasers!

Everytime I use one to spot clean, I have to do the whole interior. You 'think' it's clean, until you Erase it.

Then 303 afterwards. Always.

Mean Green from Family Dollar or Dollar General. Works excellent and it's cheap!

It all depends on what you are trying to clean off of your vinyl always remember "Likes dissolve Likes".
I like the Magic Erasers but they are abrasive and can remove the UV top coat off of some vinyl. The best way to clean vinyl is to protect it from staining in the first place.
Here is a read about cleaning vinyl.

I used this approach this weekend and was happy with the results....

I did wipe it off quickly though and then used a HEAVY dosage of protectant.
