Default Cover plates

Can anyone recommend someone to make a couple of powder coated aluminum cover plates with some engraving on them? I want to change the location of my headset connections and need a couple of cover plates for the holes. they need to be about 3 or 4 inches in diameter, either round or oblong. I want them to look custom and not look like they are covering something. Any other ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.

Best bet is to call some fab shops in our area. Or if you know exactly what you want and can draw it, send it to me and I'll see what I can do about finding someone to make them.

What about anodizing them instead of PC? I found a place off I-10 that is extremely reasonable and they do great work with very little turnaround on anodizing.

Anodizing will work. I just want the color to match. It is very simple. I want a 3" round or 3"x4" oblong plate with the Fountain name, lightning bolt logo, or my boat name etched or laser etched on it. What is the name of the place on I-10? I was even thinking of using acrylic. I can draw it.

It is called Surface Techniques, Inc. their number is 713-932-8050.
They just do the anodizing, although they may be able to do the laser etching too.

So a small plate or oblong plate... of aluminum. About what thickness will you want?

Niceguy, thanks for the help. I was looking thru Dana Marine's website and found a steering wheel hub cap that is the right color and has "Fountain Powerboats" etched in it. I ordered 2 and I think they will work perfect. I should have them in a day or 2 and will let you know.
