Great thread!!!
My cousin Carolyn and her husband just returned safely from Iraq.
You guys are all "heroes" in a day and age that seems to have trouble with the definition of that term.
Thanks for the feeling of pride and the welling of tears I get every time I hear our National Anthem.

I see we've got good veteran representation in OSO.
Submarines 1984 to 2001, Govmt Civilian in Navy Budget Office in the Pentagon 2001 to present.
Getting ready to ride up and watch some cool iron tomorrow at rolling thunder from the boat in DC.
God bless you all for your service and sacrifices.

God bless all of my brothers and sisters and their families who serve in the U.S. Military past and present.
My dad fought in Korea on the front lines in the infantry of the U.S. Army....he's 78 years old.
I served; U.S. MARINES 77-81, Sgt. Infantry/Recon
I love America for the reasons for which it was founded upon by our founding Fathers.
"I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country."
Nathan Hale American soldier 1755-1776

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance" Thomas Jefferson 1762-1826
"The Constitution is the guide of which I will never abandon." George Washington 1732-1799
"Never was there a good war or a bad peace." Ben Franklin 1706-1790
