GPS Questions
What do you have in your boat for a GPS? I want to put one in my Fountain to show me how to get to different areas / islands and want to know what's the best and most popular unit out there. If anybody has one for sale, please let me know as well.

Hard to beat this site;

I like the 76CSx, you can use it in car or boat. I have found the TOPO maps to be very accurate on the water.

Try www.getfeetwet.com I have bought several units from them over the years and have never had a problem.
I really like the garmin 376c that I recently purchased. It works on both land and water. You can hook up the GXM30 antenna for WX weather and also use it for a depth gauge (and more) via the GSD 21 sounder.
The garmin 478 comes with all the US roads and costal waterways maps pre loaded I think the 378 is loaded with lakes (and roads) instead of open waters. The 376c you have to load the maps.
This is the deal I got on the 376c and the GXM30 antenna.

Used to keep mine mounted to mount I made that used a couple of the dash screws so I wouldn't have to drill any holes for those few times I wanted to use it. Haven't used it for a few yrs though. Seems any place it wouldfit on above the dash, it was right in your line of sight.
