how much horsepower does it take to get a single engine old school scarab moving like that?
i just ask cause most people that are deep e-nuff to build 600+ horsepower engines , put em into something eaither newer , or older real real nice boats , i'd like to see pics , these days with fuel prices the way they are it should be easier to sell a single engine boat then a dual

pretty much my guess. But who has the $ to buy another 600 plus hp engine plus the reliability concern, and put it in a older 30 heavy footer? That's my only question that scares me... But sure it was fun converting it and getting 76 mph out of the boat! E-mail me pictures if you want I,ll post them if you have trouble loading them!
