Anyone boat at Lake Pend Oreille Idaho??

My family has owned land up there for years (in between Hope and Sand Point). I haven't been up there in about 15 years and want to take the wife and daughter (never been there) and check it out in late August.

Anyone boating in the area. The lake is f*ckin' awesome as I recall.
Any connections on condos on the lake?:D

Been there 4 times in the past 3 years, not friendly to HP boats but gorgeous lake, VRBO is the website/condo connection that I used,, I buzzed/roosted the bridges a few too many with my 32 DCB and was 'escorted' off the lake :cool-smiley-011:

I have property on the River on the Washington side, near Ione. I have spent a lot of time on the Idaho side near Sandpoint, the problem is the local cops (Idaho) don't like our big boats much. Last year they shut my buddies Scarab down for noise, so if your boat is louder than 96db leave it home or they will ticket you for it.

This year we have had a long winter- its currently 52 degrees and raining- and Lake Coeur D' Alene has been a no wake zone because of all the flooding. All the rivers and lakes are at flood stage or near it, so hopefully it will be good to go when you get here in August. There are a bunch of Condo's in Sandpoint- let me know if I can help you out with anything.

Scott

Thanks for the replies guys....I forgot all about VRBO, that'd probably be the best route.

The lake is pretty big though, how many freakin' cops do they have on the lake?! Seems like you could keep away from 'em.

If you at least HAVE mufflers installed, they're pretty cool, just dont buzz the populated shoreline or the bridges like I did, I have 700 mercs in my 32 with Gatlins and all they wanted to see was that I at least attempted to comply, I stayed at Seasons in downtown sandpoint and they have a pretty decent dock/marina, plenty of rentals on VRBO there, good luck!

Well, I don't think I'm dragging the Cig up there so I don't have to worry about the noise. But I've always wanted to have our boat up there and run. The lake is just awesome! I'll check out Seasons. Thanks for the info.
