Thats correct. APBA does not want you going 150mph in an opean copit boat.I think you still can run in p1 but you have to stay under 110mph.I belive p1 is the only class that can do this

Thumbs up Hey MIKE!

Have fun racing! You will LOVE IT! There are more rules for the P class than stated. Some other things are as follows. Your rear hatch has to support I believe a 200 pound rescuer with all his equipment, bow rail, anchor, red flag, medical kit, flares, etc. Check the APBA board and you can read and or print out all the rules. Be VERY FAMILIAR with them BEFORE you race! Learning by being DQ'd SUCKS! Let me know if you have any questions or I can do anything.
