Boating, four wheeling, electronics
100mph 22 foot Stingray

I saw this on the Trailer Boats forum, and surprised I haven't seen
it here. Someone who made an (old) Stingray go nearly 100mph,
or so they claim.

the boats will handle speed we had them running that fast years ago but with big block blown power and bravo drives,if only back then we could have tried a shortie i think we could have been well over 100

I remember Bob Hamlin's grey 22' Stingray Maxim up on Lake Norman. He pulled the big block out and dropped a Hercules small block package in, with, I think 475 hp. He was up in the 80+ range even with that power. Said the boat sat up about 2" higher in the water and handled even better. Years later he raced with us in several catamarans called Patriot.

Just like Jim Darr/Wiggler409/Buddy00/etc , good old Tripple Digits shows up again.
This A$$Clown was thrown off pretty much every performance boating site last winter, now he has popped back up on Hotboat, and Trailerboats.
There isn't one solid piece of truth to back up his claims.

There has never been an independant verification of his claims, he has never bothered to take a GPS and a camera in the boat, it's all smoke and mirrors.
He origonally claimed that he had developed a "Secret Sauce" drive oil that was allowing him to put so much power through the Alpha.

i agree....he has shot his mouth off on more than one occasion and I can't count how many times he has come back under other names....it doesn't take long for him to say something stupid and everyone knows who it is....real piece of work....

Only a few called him out on hotboat, i was suprised.
if he spent as much time working on his boat as he does running his mouth off he might see 100mph some day
