the numbers sound like the labbing should work out good, before I bought new ones I tried out a set of used 30's with some dings and they must have lost some pull, cuz I was getting more rpm compared to the new 30's I bought. I need the cup to remain in the prop for nose lift, and I am not sure if labbing will decrease that effect. probably just a conversation away with the right lab shop, i.e., lab blades, increase cup!!!C'mon spring!!!!

75.2gps, 89 Checkmate 251 w/HP500 carb. 26p Hydro Q-IV, nose cone, 2 people, 1/2 gas. 1foot chop, cool spring day.

just found out that the motor has bad valves and was 50 or so down on power. Im hoping it'll do 80 after the refresh and minor upgrades.

64.99999mph with my 3 year old steering. 272 formula w/ 330's, 25 mirages.

Also..... 103.2 mph Mercedes A class, down a mountain grade in N. Eastern France. Waterfoul's borrowed GPS tattletail memory to prove it. Kid's don't try that at home. that was scary

Default Best Speed

Hi!

Best speed Phantom 25 w/Promax 300 - Tempest 26 inch labbed prop at 6.100 rpms = 78 mph.

New boat this spring - Skater 28 w/twin 2.5's = 115 mph? Will keep the Phantom as a Fjord cruiser!

Cheers and all the best from Norway, Toffen G
