I second that !

Was with Joe Sgro going out Governor's Cut at the Miami Boat Show with that boat. It was amazing how level she flew over the big stuff.

I got many pics of it with the fresh paint work from the NY Poker Run :

Also it was less than 1 minute behind the second place boat which reportedly had 1650hp a side chasing Maxed Out's rooster tail in which it was 2 minutes behind !

It should fly to the moon for $850K, that is outrageous.

How can a 114 mph boat be only a few minutes behind a 160 mph cat? 114 was good enough for third?

If I am doing my math right, it seems that is not so hard to believe. The distance is only about 15 miles.

160.00 mph = ET .09375

114.00 mph = ET .13158

It does seem that there has been a serious reduction in the level of h.p. at this run. I went down to walk the docks for the last four years, but after last years turn out it didn't seem worth the drive, although Ron was nice enough to offer me an open seat in Maxed Out last year. Congrats to Ron on a great run!!!!!

Just to get in Maxed Out for the Run would have certainly been enough for me to make the drive !

Ron did a fantastic job getting that boat up the river, but scared the hell out of me when he shut down for a wake towards the end...
