Exactly. Over 93, impressed - just under 100, damn impressed - over 100, extremely impressed, learn that others have sweat, tears, and a lot of pride in their projects, (even if it is a larger boat), and treat them with respect, priceless.

Early in the morning or late in the afternoon were Trippy's choices.

Apparently the 22 foot rocketship Stingray that regularly spanks boats worth well over $200K needs flat water to run.

Without going back through the thread, 9:00 AM comes to mind....

Run 100.01 MPH or don't bother getting wet...

Please reread all the posts, he straight up said he can run 104mph, that he is the boatinf speed god and a 1989 22 Sting ray was the best boat built. Told us we did not know what we were talking about and he enjoys running over 100mph to make fun of other boats!!!!!!!

TD , the question is are you straigh up full of CHIT, or have the nutz to back up your JOISY CHIT NOISE MOUTH.

100.01 or don't show and go away. should't be a problem for a boat that can run 104.

My understanding is the boat will run 85 - 90 on pump gas with the small block tied to an Alpha drive. (Modified Alpha Drive).

I do believe the boat was clocked over 100 with nitros...

I will know more tomorrow.

I am not sure if the Waters Edge was where he intended to run. I believe it was further south than that.

Take TD out of the equation.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BOAT and what they were able to do with it.

I use the term "they" because I have learned that there are many more people involved with this project. It was not all TD that got the boat to where it is today.

But TD for one is no junk yard dog that threw big power at some used boat just to go fast.

He very much thought out this project and has spent endless hours along with others over the last 3 years to get it to where it is at today.

Stay tuned...

Hopefully he makes his mark tomorrow and people will believe.

On another note, I found out this is not about a business venture. Although in my opinion someone may want to know just how he is making the Alpha survive on his big powered boat.

One other thing I will say, I found out this all started over a grudge match between friends. He and his brother got sandbagged one day by another boat. And that is where this all came about.

This group of friends have a history of street racing.
Sounded to me something like the show PINKS.

Well they crossed over to boats one day and they lost.
Now TD is out with his sleeper boat.
He does not claim to be the fastest but apparently has taken on some bigger performance boats and left them in his wake.

I have done that few times in my Bullet as well, but that's another story in itself....

So we shall see what tomorrow brings...

Hopefully all ends well and he can tell you how he played a part in Al Copeland's 1st Turbine boat...

Tim, with all do respect.

100+. period. I don't care if he needs to tow it to Newark Airport for Jet A.

100+ TD

If he hits 100mph as certified via GPS by Sharkey then TD has something worth talking about. Otherwise, leave the boat on the trailer and get back to wrenching. Nobody likes a loud mouthed BS'r.

Where and when is the high speed pass scheduled?

I agree that since he opened up the can of worms with his mouth that HE set the bar not us. Anything less then 100 would be a failure for him. I would still be damn impressed with anything close.
