What is the deal with Sea Tow? Jerks!

I've got a friend down in south TX who says a boat washed up in a parking lot after the hurricane. Can we salvage the boat? Its been sitting there for 2 weeks now.

Its going to end up in the trash with the rest of the debri if anything else. If the owner cared about it he would of already picked it up and claimed damages with his insurance. No I don't think its a chicken**** thing to do. I think that making personal insults on an online chat forum is a chicken**** thing to do. i have boat-us with unlimited towing , the service is great

anyone who has a sea tow policy should dump them asap

My question is, if it's a permitted race, where seaTow is contracted How can they claim salvage?! I think these guys are crooks and we should all boycott them and use on Boat US. I think taking advantage of racers at a time like this is disgusting! I hope the owner disputes his Credit card!

You Guys should take a Look at a tow boat company called BOAT-AID , They are Orange, They Operate out of the Miami Beach Marina, Great group of guys that I have used for Towing, and Maintainence, Its a great group of excoasties, they are honest, upfront, and through my business dealings with them, I now consider them friends. I remember reading recently that I think it was Sea Tow that went out to a boat w/mechanical issues in the West Palm area.The tow boat operator was drunk as a monkey and towed the disabled boat in circles until they ran out of gas! Owners of the broke down boat got it running and towed the tow boat to shore!
Don't think that story saw air after the initial report

I had Boat US before and had great luck with them and getting reading to sign on again. I also like that they (Boat US) spend a ton of money fighting for our rights as well.
