I just bought 2 JL W3's, 4 7.7 seperates a kenwood headunit that will take a USB and big power with 2 more optima blue tops. All going in the Skater. Subs in the front under the dash. Has all that air space to hit in.

Still gotta finish a flush panel under the helm....
Kenwood marine head unit with remote on the helm and transom, 2 Excelon 4-channel amps, 1 Excelon mono amp, 4 Wet Sounds 6.5's, 6 Kenwood 6.5's, 4 JL 10W0-8's, a Wet Sounds line driver/pre-amp, 2 Stinger SP1500D batteries that'll go all night long and a few more days. Kenwood isn't normally my first choice, but the 2 4-channels and head unit were already in the boat.

No pics but just put a Sony X-Plod head unit in with a 200W Sony amp. 4 Pioneer 6x9 5-ways and a 10" Infinity sub. The water moves around the back when the sub is working hard. Had to add a second battery as a long afternoon of jams can run one down. Some of you guys have some serious tunes.

I agree, Matt's Bluewater is SICK!!!! That is the only stereo, especailly in a free air enivoroment, that actually hurt my ears when he turned it up. No distortion and you can hear it clearly from miles away on the water.

I just put a "system" in my boat...here's what it's got:
Kenwood Head Unit, Sony amp powering four sony 6 1/2's in the cockpit and two more 6 1/2's in the cabin. Works pretty well in a small boat.
Might put a tube/woofer somewhere in the boat if I can find a good spot. Anyone ever done that on a 29 Fountain?
