Well i guess thats why Performance boats are leaving Fort Lauderdale area because the old farts don't like loud exhaust or the fast boats in the intercoastal water ways

Hey Travis.........you running the midwestboatparty run sat.? Glad to hear that rumor wasn't true about the incident at Backwater Jack's. It's probably been about a year since I've ran into you......you gave me a jump at the launch ramp then slung a blower belt......and all last summer there was only 1 girl in WL......nice to hear they've multiplied!!!!!!

I got a ticket last week on Mead and he measured 99.6dB.....also said switchables are illegal. Guess I won't be going back to lake Mead ever again! What.....I'm going to disturb a lizard or snake? Too bad you got arrested Travis.....what happened?

So does anyone think there is any chance that anything will ever change with the db level, and what has to be done to make it happen. Probably wont happen but maybe its worth a chance.Let me know if youll have any ideas

Eventually it will be lowered to 75db at 75' per J34, unfortunately. That is similar to semi's. Maybe the Coast Guard recommendation of 86db will hold up, but I doubt it. The more people that own lake/ocean front property, the sooner it will happen.

Are you asking about changing the laws or the noise the boats make?
