It would also be thre only Fountain I would EVER consider owning.

Yea, TD was right. I've never had any "fast" boats. LOL (had to)

"Doc" Mike Jensen is a neighbor at my LOTO marina. This boat originally had Mercury 600SC's before going back to Fountain for the 1075's. Have driven the boat and it really accelerates and handles very nicely. JT is going to give Doc & his son a couple days of personal instruction on high speed driving of this boat in a couple weeks.

good for doc & getting professional instruction. will be interesting come the shootout.

Thanks..I still love that Skater..but if I want speed I need to convince my wife to let me get a cat..Nortech, Skater, MTI, Eliminator....I'm still waiting for some of these manufactures to call her (Sandy 228-216-0900 Cell) and convince her that cats ride better than V's in the rough stuff.:party-smiley-004::cool:

Get one of the guys on here to give a ride in a cat vs v the same day same water. CatCanDo up here (Barry) convinced my wife. Still lost though when the difference in insurance quote came through. (Of course the BT cabin vs the Mares cabin also had something to do with it).

I'm in the same position Rat and you can bet the v-bottom (and the wife) is going to win out again, dammit!!! Mine's all about the speed as long as the creature comforts are there (and a liveable insurance premium:eek:). Oh well, at least she enjoys this expensive ass sport too.:ernaehrung004:

Ya and a 42 PR with same power I bet rips it a new one.:cool-smiley-011:

Like Ive said Sharkey its better to see them just settle it on the race course, two great boats, great competion, its what its all about and great for the sport. Lets work on more of an MTI Skater rivalry for cats, cause this one is set for the vees. This is what makes it fun!!!:cool-smiley-026:
