I don't think Skater and OL are the same....I know my ride was doing 140 with 525 with Whipple 5.0's and thats a lot less power than the 1075. I don't know what it would do with 1075's.... and for insurance reasons I don't think I am going to find out.

BT did say that 42 pokerrun ran a very stable 143...anywhere in that realm is screaming for a vee!

And, it should run better than a 1990 29' Fountain

Whats the HP of the 525's w/ the whipples? And what drives? I know what Dustin says but what did you see in that boat on dyno?

Under 900 on regular gas and a mild pulley and 950 on race gas with more boost and #6 drives.

Some cats may not have cabins, but did you forget about the additional square footage a cat hull has vs a Vee ? It's almost half of another boat when you look at the 2 sides of the tunnel and then the top of the tunnel all of which a Vee does not have...

Pound for pound in the Vee's, maybe ask someone how the latest OL that went to Canada was doing I believe on less power...

And the reports I have been reading about the Bimini race was that the OL XXX was leading until a navigational error cost them a bit a time on the way back... It's unfortunate, but a win is a win and I congratulate Brett for a fine performance with his boat. At least there was competition there and in P1 Powerboat to make winining well earned and deserved!

I sure as hell would think that XXX with 1075's would be ahead of Miccosukee with 525's. Funny thing is Miccosukee finished first in the V class.

As far as Malta goes, maybe the OL guys won't jump the start this time.
