It really depends on the condition!!!!!! If its rusting to where pieces are falling off, then you have lost the integrity of the trailer.. We have seen trailers split apart, scary to think about at 70mph.

No kidding! We had a shop trailer split BEHIND the safety chains, so they would have done no good. The strange thing was it snapped in a place that wasnt a weld line or rusted. Luckily we caught it while pulling out at the ramp.
